Fame. Such a burden.
So for now, I will post some things I have done that aren't (only) tiles. I hope you don't mind.
Cigar box assemblage with tile and feathers held in with tension.
Detail of above.
ATC using the tile as a focal point.
By the way, I am going to be teaching in Saluda, NC at Random Arts. September 22. Come see me. Maybe the Novocaine will have worn off by then, hindering my Sylvester Stallone impersonation.

Good for you. You still managed to post a good one. You are my hero. Love Mom
Of course, you did still make a square yesterday, right? An emergency root canal doesn't get you off, you know. You could have used the percoset label as a background or something....

ohh...poor tooth - i hope it's better by now. nothing hurts quite like a toothache.
i love this cigar box assemblage, how creative you are - beautiful red feathers, and the ephemera you combined with it is perfect. A lovely composition!
Thanks for your compliment, Katie. I love your stuff so it means so much that you appreciate mine!
My tooth is now a constant, dull ache instead of a constant, sharp shooting pain. I keep thinking of Tom Hanks in Castaway and how he had to knock out an abcessed tooth with an ice skate blade. Yikes.
How did you sit still long enough to have a root canal? Hmmm? jp
