Georgia Snowmen

If you got the most recent Cloth Paper Scissors magazine, maybe you have been itching to try your hand at Sue Pelletier's snowmen too.  I finally gave in and broke out the mica flakes. Using only what I had rattling around the studio (and emptying out some syrup bottles) here's my bunch.  If I can stand to part with any of them they may end up being hostess gifts.  I got about 8 snow ball heads out of one little package of Delight paper clay.

The one with the green wings is made from a shot gun shell. It's mounted on the lid of an ammo can.  That one's for Mark.

Now I want some hot chocolate.

shoot. should have saved that maple syrup bottle after breakfast Saturday. I have been wanting to try these, and you have enticed me more. Too adorable. It's the closest we'll get to snowmen in my part of the country.

These are too cute! Glad you tried this out. I saw the article too and thought about the empties around here. But I decided there are too many unfinished projects to work on already.

I sent you a couple emails about the Mixed Media book with my address. I haven't received the book yet. Am I still the winner?

Your snowmen are darling! They are the only kind of snowmen that are around here. I'm from deep South Texas. It only snows here once in a blue moon! Very sweet!
