Centennial Poste

In honor of this one-hundredth blog entry, I am giving away some blog candy to a randomly chosen commentator to this post. (Notice I didn't say "lucky" commentator - I guess that depends on what you think of the stuff I make.)

It will be something along these lines.

Some ground rules:

1. You cannot be a family member (or know anyone I ever dated - that should narrow it down.)

2. You have to leave a comment; a comment constitutes of one or more words (no cussin'). I would really like to know how you found my blog, so if you would like to leave that in your comment, great! This way I'll know if all my primetime advertising is paying off.

3. Contest ends when I post again - could be tomorrow, could be Tuesday - oooh the intrigue!

I will pick the winner randomly and post your screen name so you can email me your address privately. (Don't worry, I promise not to drop by unannounced.)

This will be fun. For me anyway. And you do realize that it's all about me, right?

Thanks for visiting my little corner of the blog-o-sphere.

Ready, set, GO!

I am not a family member, although after spending several days in your company at Arrowmont last week, I think that we could be family!!! Your work is amazing and only surpassed by your personality! So...pick me for your blog candy...pick me...pick me!

Wow, Arrowmont sounds like a great experience. I love what you have shared, your work is amazing! I hope I can go someday! It's that crazy girl you met in Chicago, (yes I have "showed off" my signed magazine:) and I wanted you to know I took a big step and entered the recpie card mixed media swap at CPS thanks to you and Debbi Crane. Both of you have been such an inspiration to me. Thanks gals! I also love your latest article in CPS, it is way fun! I'm off to 4-H camp for 5 days with 250 kids and yes we are crafting! I'll be back! It's a great blog you have, someday I may just have to set one up myself. Thanks for all the sharing and ideas, it is so appreciated! Jenna Louise

Hi, Cheryl! We met at the quilt show in Chicago -- I'm the one who was so thrilled to learn about the Bazzill chips.

I have my pics glued on, now I need to do the backs............

I am a family member and am protesting the rule -- what's wrong with a little nepotism?

Well . . . I'm not a family member, although I've attended a few Karounos family functions, and I certainly know a few people that you've dated in the DPU days -- some that you won't want to admit to. ;-) Although those facts should preclude me from commenting, I couldn't resist. I stumbled across this blog, and am SO glad to see that you're still one of the funniest, most creative people that I've had the pleasure of knowing. I will keep up with you, and I would love to catch up. Love to Mark and the boys. XOXOXOXO, G.

I'm not really sure how I found your blog. I have you on my Bloglines as I LOVE reading crafty blogs. I am pretty sure I found you on another crafter's blogroll. However, sadly I cannot remember whose. SORRY :(

Wow, what a great time to check out your blog! I love contests! Great to see your prints. I remember seeing one of them hanging on the wall in your classroom because I asked someone about it--the face image--really cool!

Hope you are recouping after the week away. It was a great ride home! We definitely need to do some flea markets together!

Your blog is an addictive pleasure, Cheryl, and your style is...well...Cheryl's! We met at a workshop at Random Arts last year in which we soldered and stitched small metal books. And Jane Powell's blog is where I found yours.

Glad to hear you enjoyed your experience at Arrowmont. I'm just back from a two-week, wonderfully intense book arts workshop at Penland, and I'm off to Arrowmont for the first time in August for a class with Carol Barton. Yippee!

Cool to see you again in CPS.
