Market Survey

Here's something I really need your opinion on:

Do you think the world can survive another line of rubber stamps?
Do you think the world can't survive without another line of rubber stamps?

I am toying with the idea of producing my own line, and you can be part of my super-scientific market survey.....

If I get 15 comments in the next 24 hours, good, bad or threatening, then I will call this a valid market sample and trudge ahead. If I don't, I will curl up in the fetal position and ask the children to fetch me chocolates.

Here's an example of what I was thinking about, in 1.5" square, of course.

The fate of this stamp waiting to hatch, and others like it, are in your typing hands. I know, I could just ask a magic eight ball for career direction, but what fun is that for you?

(Mom, Dad, you don't get a vote, sorry, but you'd skew the results and Price Waterhouse Coopers would catch it in the audit anyway.)

I think that we should do it. All we can do is try and why not? Will we fall apart if it doesnt work? Will our lives be over as we know it? No, I say, trudge on.

Well, yes, the world can survive - and many of us would love a new line. I like the sample you have shown - something artsy, edgy, groovy, and not cute would be a really good thing. Good luck!

By all means....create stamps! I loved your article in CPS, just got it yesterday and read it from cover to cover and really enjoyed your writing...so witty and funny! So when you are done doing your 365 tiles, and creating your new stamp line, taking care of the boys, taking the dog to dog shows, working as a headhunter, and hanging with hubby....THEN, you should wirte a book! Cheers!,

I hope you're rethinking the 25 comments in 24 hours because I need you to produce stamps.......and I will NEED everyone of them. I'm a very fragile person you know and if you don't produce the stamps you may personally be responsible for my NEXT nervous breakdown.
Do you want that hanging over your head??!!!
Love,
H

Yes, please create you own line of stamps.

A few comments: Not rubber stamps, but the clear acrylic ones that you use the same
mounting piece with position lines and the "stamps" stick with their own adhesive. Much easier to store as the stamps are flat. I keep these in photo and baseball clear sheet holders in a three-ring binder.

I have tired of trying to clean my rubber stamps thoroughly. Wooden backed rubber stamps are difficult to store--I keep mine in an old flat typesetting drawer.
