Georgie Porgie et al

Georgie Porgie, Jan 28th.
I know you remember where you came from, Dad. I just don't want to forget.

Tile-on-the-Go: Made this one on Jan 29th riding back from Columbia SC.
Don't worry. My coworker was driving.

Today's tile shows a queen who wished for a baby and got a BIG one:
Princess Sweet Pea.

60 years ago this March we landed at Ellis Island with the clothes on our back. I kept looking in the street because they told me there was gold in the streets of America. The skyscrapers amazed us as we bent over double backwards to look at their tops.

Our America - the greatest and most wonderful country in the world! Thank you for taking us in.

I love your dad even though I don't know him, except through his posts!!! I not only love what he writes but the fact that he always writes...you are one lucky daughter.
Good job on keeping up with the tiles! Can't wait to see the giant mosaic at the end of the year!
Take care,
Laurie
